Updated over 6 months ago

Overview

The HubSpot CRM node enables seamless integration with your HubSpot CRM system, allowing you to pull specific data types and configure how much information to retrieve. This node provides a streamlined interface for accessing your CRM data within your workflows.

Data Configuration

Data to Pull Section

The "Data to Pull" section contains four key dropdown fields that determine what information is extracted from your HubSpot CRM:

Object Type Selection

The first dropdown allows you to select the type of CRM object to retrieve:

  • Deal - Access deal records, including deal stages, amounts, and associated information

  • Contact - Retrieve contact information, including personal details and interaction history

  • Company - Pull company records with organizational data and associated contacts

List vs. Details Selection

The second dropdown determines the scope of data retrieval:

  • List - Retrieves a list of records with basic information, ideal for overviews and bulk operations

  • Details - Fetches comprehensive information for each record, including all available fields and properties

Properties Filter

The "Properties" dropdown allows you to specify which fields or properties to include in your data extraction. This filtering capability helps you focus on relevant information and optimize data transfer.

Record Limit

The final dropdown controls how many records to retrieve in a single operation:

  • 10 - Retrieves up to 10 records (default setting)

  • 50 - Pulls up to 50 records

  • 100 - Extracts up to 100 records

  • 500 - Retrieves up to 500 records

  • 1000 - Pulls up to 1000 records (maximum)

This limit helps manage data volume and ensures optimal performance based on your specific needs.

Execution and Output

Get Data Button

The orange "Get Data" button initiates the data retrieval process. Once clicked, the node will connect to your HubSpot CRM and extract the specified data based on your configuration settings.

Output Section

The output area displays "Your output will be generated here" as placeholder text. After execution, this section will populate with the retrieved CRM data formatted according to your specifications.

Configuration Best Practices

Choosing Object Types

  • Select Deal when working with sales pipeline data, revenue tracking, or deal stage analysis

  • Choose Contact for customer information, lead management, or communication workflows

  • Pick Company when analyzing organizational data or account-based operations

List vs. Details Selection

  • Use List for quick overviews, bulk operations, or when you only need basic information

  • Choose Details when you need comprehensive data for analysis, reporting, or detailed processing

Setting Record Limits

  • Start with smaller limits (10-50) for testing and development

  • Use larger limits (100-1000) for comprehensive data exports or bulk operations

  • Consider your workflow's processing capacity when selecting higher limits

Properties Filtering

  • Specify only the properties you need to reduce data transfer time

  • Include essential fields for your workflow while excluding unnecessary information

  • Use filtering to focus on specific data points relevant to your analysis

Integration Considerations

The HubSpot CRM node requires proper authentication and permissions to access your HubSpot account. Ensure your workflow has the necessary credentials configured before using this node.

The retrieved data can be passed to other nodes in your workflow for further processing, analysis, or integration with other systems, making it a powerful component for CRM-driven automation and data workflows.
